In Callosa d’en Sarria, 15 km from Altea, i.e. half the way to Guadalest, you find wonderful waterfalls. The first parking you come to is not the only one. To find a parking for your car is no problem.

The water falls have crystal clear water. Having paid the entrance fee, you are 10 metres from the first pool, a natural pool with running water. The bottom is covered with small (+/- 5 cm), rounded stones, some visitors prefer to use foot wear (for bathing), but it is not necessary if you are careful when entering into the water. Although being river water, the temperature is more than acceptable for bathing.

If you have trouble moving in stairs, you should stay in the first pool area. This because the water comes from higher up in the terrain, and to see the area one have to use the stairs (made from wood or stone). You follow the path and can enjoy the wonderful surrounding nature, flora, fauna and the water. There are different pools with various sizes and depths which you for sure will enjoy.

In addition to the water you find restaurants, a camping area (for barbecue) and also toilets.
